get to know me
I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. I attended LSU for my undergraduate studies majoring in psychology and earning minors in Business, Sociology, and Spanish. I completed my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at LSU.
I have experience working with adolescents, college-aged students, and adults. I have worked as a high school counselor, as a therapist at LSU's Mental Health Services, and in a private practice setting.
I combine person-centered therapy with solution-focused interventions and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), utilizing resources when appropriate to the session. I incorporate a Christian perspective in session if desired.
You are in control of your healing journey, I am just holding space to facilitate it.
My areas of focus include: anxiety/depression, self-harm and suicidality, trauma, parenting, motherhood, interpersonal relationships, and life transitions.
